WE TAKE A STAND. FOR VOTING RIGHTS. FOR EQUAL SAY. FOR YOU.

This is a joint project by SP 6 and SP 10. We strongly believe that everyone who lives here should be recognized as a full member of society. And in a democracy, this means having the right to vote.

One third of Zurich’s residents are not allowed to vote.

In the city of Zurich, 33.6% of the permanent population do not hold a Swiss passport (Source: Statistics Office of the City of Zurich, 2023). They live here, they work here, and they pay taxes. But when it comes to political decisions, they have no say.

We believe: If you live here, you should have a voice.

Swiss citizenship laws are strict, and we cannot change them at the local level. However, what we can do is support people who wish to become Swiss citizens.
